I'm not too familiar with paragons, but dont think they have much/any aoe attacks. You could try subbing in paragons, but since this setup relies on barrage to deliver it's aoe damage, you may not get as good results having to kill one target at a time. But again, I am not positive.

I didn't think so. Oh well, back to the last few Nightfall missions then.

Bow paragons work fine if that's what your asking, as long as they have GftE or something else adrenal to spam.

With a spearway approach you'd have a curses character and micro mark of pain for the big AoE damage.

Drazach Thicket VQ. Wanted to work on clearing out some residual quests on this character. One of the quicker VQs; my guess is that it's because there weren't many large open areas to get lost in.

Arborstone VQ. A bit more enemies since I had the quest requiring you to protect 5/8 NPCs active. Enemy traps are annoying in both these zones.

Melandru's Hope VQ. I hate zones with a lot of patrols. Takes forever to find the last few stragglers.

I finally got the build up and running and decided to start small with Slaver's NM. I breezed through all of it up until Duncan. I was an idiot and didn't bring Swap, just the build you first linked me. Is popping Swap in how you usually do Duncan, or is there another way? We just can't survive.

Using swap is pretty much standard in killing duncan. The spirits are pretty painful against this group-build since shadowsong can totally shut down 1/4 of your damage and more. You can still kill duncan; it just takes a long time. I did the same thing as you in one of my earlier posts in this thread and it took a while to finish him off (something like 19 more minutes). This was in HM though so in NM it may not be as bad.

Today's ZB: Bogroot (Tekk's). A bit faster than my previous trap-version setup. And I think Tekk's has more enemies than Griff's (previous run)? Times were 13/23. Not extraordinarily fast, but had very little trouble.

Today's ZV: Perdition Rock. Much easier than I remember this area being. Though, I haven't really been here for a long long time... The numerous patrols made things a pain in terms of finding all the groups.

Sadly, I forgot to grab yesterday's ZV Magus Stone. May get around to doing the area anyway.

Other day's ZV: Magus Stones. Since today's ZB was Oola's, I figured I would do the VQ. I must say I hate the Krait skill Metamorphasis. Don't know if they count as additional enemies killed, but my counter last read 400 enemies by the time I finished the run.

The Krait are quite annoying. I don't understand how the Metamorphosis skill can still go through once you've killed them.

First of all thanks a lot to everyone for this great post, it helped me a lot after a long break from the game.

I used the "standard" Wenspire's team build lately, with just a difference. I dropped the ritualist hero and used a panic mesmer hero.
I play the part of the SoS ritualist, I always loved the idea of a ranger in touch with spirits!
It seems to be working, even though I tried only a few vanquishes.
Thanks again and good luck woth your titles hunting!

So have you used these team builds for everything? haha. I've been thinking of trying the elite areas, and it works fairly well with most VQs and HM missions, I even got Rotscale HM . Any thoughts on how well it'd perform or suggestions for skill-changes?

FoW HM shouldn't be a problem if you change the prot monk to handle more hex duty (I used p&h for an elite). I haven't tried UW yet since I am not too familiar with the area. DoA HM would probably be impossible in city and gloom because of the enviro effects.

I've been trying Urgoz HM by borrowing three extra heroes from my other account. I can get all the way to the end, with very little trouble, but the heroes die at the boss because they like to stand still and clump together. The only extra damage I got from the additional heroes is from an air ele (I didn't play my second account much after factions so heroes are limited). I may spend a bit more time in there trying to figure out a solution, but we'll see.

The Deep I haven't tried yet. Not too familiar with that area, as well.

EDIT:
Regarding Urgoz, came up with a tactic for the last boss and decided to test it out. It worked but was a little slow. Flagged everyone near bottom of ramp and attacked Urgoz by myself (and pet) while EoE was up. Had to micro OoV usage, and Shelter/Displacement (not sure if hero would have kept those up himself). Took around 5min to kill him with this method, but at least it worked with probably near-zero chance of dying. Overall time not too quick but I think I could have it down another 10min or so.

Changed my pMonk to UA and subbed in a ST-prot rit in place of hMonk. I just ferried heroes from my other account and logged out when the mission started. Other account heroes I went with were 2 HBurst monks and the Thunderclap ele.

Yeah, I figured this build would only be useful in UW and FoW, DoA is a bit too specific. I love the builds though, almost my entire guild is copying it since I went on a VQ chain with them. I've VQ'd 10 zones now with this build with more than 200 enemies/hour, it's awesome! I'll probably try these in FoW, UW, and The Deep NM and see how it goes, I just want the HoM statue, not interested in farming quite yet :P

I also did Slaver's NM after some fun Swapping, but Duncan was tough and ended up blowing a Conset and Powerstone on him. Any tips for HM? I'm using the generic build so far.

EDIT: Just skimmed over your videos for Slaver's HM, and I think I was going about pulling and flagging all wrong. I was putting the rangers up front so they/their pets protected the backline. I see you put the SoS out there to do that and you use a lot more Line of Sight pulls than I did. I also used the most inefficient method of Swapping the spirits, stupid me :P. I'll have to run it again and see what I can do when I do it properly.

Ya, the spirits are the main wall for the group with the pets also helping out when they reach there. The rangers pretty much just focus on what is clumped up at the wall or wherever the largest concentration of enemies are at.

Slavers HM won't be difficult once you get the hang of where best to set the wall at.

Recently started using ranger teams in HM since discord and mesmers got boring and the damage stops when the energy does.
Been running this one a few HM missions in Elona and thru all of War in Kryta (with blood + 1 ranger removed in 6man areas).

I should probably add some def stance for ant-melee.

Might be hard to see all the builds so i added the codes as well.

In the image you have Cultist's Fervor but in the screenshot and template code the blood necro uses Spoil Victor. I'm building out a new hero team and want to use Orders; is energy ever a problem, or is health a bigger concern?

Initially, I tried Cultists Fervor with OoP, but found the elite unnecessary as the Necro was not having EN issues (at least with the skills he had equipped). Health shouldn't be an issue either unless maybe you equip that skill that boosts Blood+2 at the expense of increased sac.

The only issue I had with the Necro is that he seems to draw the most agro and ends up dead more often than say the SoS which is up front.
